# ParticleDB documentation

Install ParticleDB, build applications, write Particles, and find tested SQL and SDK guidance.

Source: https://particledb.ai/docs/

Start locally, connect your application, and work with relational data, key-value, vectors, analytics and Particles.

## Start building

  - [Run your first query](/getting-started/quickstart/): Install, start a local server, write a record and read it back.
  - [Write your first Particle](/particles/overview/): Write a function and call it from a query.

## Use your language

[Python](/sdks/python/) · [TypeScript](/sdks/typescript/) · [Java](/sdks/java/) · [Go](/sdks/go/) · [Rust](/sdks/rust/) · [C#](/sdks/csharp/)

[All clients and support information](/sdks/overview/)

## What are you building?

  - [Application data](/guides/relational-data/): Tables, records, parameters and transactions.
  - [Search and memory](/guides/search-and-memory/): Store embeddings and retrieve relevant records.
  - [Agents and workflows](/guides/agents-and-workflows/): Persist state, record results and retry work safely.
  - [Live analytics](/guides/analytics/): Aggregate the records your application writes.

## Develop and ship

- [Import and export data](/guides/import-export/).
- [Run a repeatable local development environment](/guides/local-development/).
- [Secure application connections](/guides/security/).
- [Diagnose errors](/guides/troubleshooting/).
- [Find SQL syntax](/sql/overview/), [CLI commands](/operations/cli-reference/) and [configuration](/installation/configuration/).

## Versions and availability

Core examples are checked with the downloadable `1.1.19-rc.12` server. Python Particles require a separate Python-enabled distribution, as noted on those pages. Use the documentation with the server and client versions installed in your environment. Optional runtimes and deployment-specific features list their prerequisites on the relevant page. See [feature availability](/limits/overview/) before planning a migration.
